English courses

This intensive C1 course is built on three convictions. First, that advanced learners do not need more grammar instruction — they need more sophisticated engagement with language in use. Second, that the most effective C1 activities are those that demand genuine intellectual effort, not mechanical practice. Third, that real language development at this level happens through sustained exposure to complex, authentic texts and tasks that require learners to take intellectual risks.

 Each week is built around a thematic unit that integrates all six skill areas rather than treating them in isolation. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, not as discrete drills. Assessment is ongoing and embedded in classroom activity rather than confined to end-of-course examinations.
